EAST WAIRARAPA NOMINATION.

(To the Editor of the Wairarapa Mercury.) Sir, —If the place of nomination for East Wairarapa is to be continued on the west side of the Ruamahunga I think it should be at Greytown rather than at Masterton, it being more central and therefore more convenient to the electors generally. The inconvenience of the present place was shewn by only five electors being present at the last nomination though the day was all that could be desired. There are certainly more electors in the valley and elsewhere than on the sea coast, yet out of six polling places there are three on the coast and one at Masterton that may also be considered as part of the coastal service. SAMUEL REVANS.
