FEATHERSTON ROAD DISTRICT. THE ANNUAL MEETING of the RATE PAYERS of the above District will be held at the Court House, Featherston, on SATURDAY, the 16th day of MARCH, 1867, at half-past two o’clock p.:u., for the purpose of fixing the amount of the Rates for the construction, maintenance, .and repairs severally of the Roads in the District during the ensuing j’ear, and for the transaction of all ether business necessary to be done at such meeting under “ The District Highway’s Act 1862.” Also, at such Meeting, will be brought forward for discussion a proposal from Messrs. Smith & Revans, for extending the Featherston Road District so as to include in such district a portion of the Moroa Plain. Ail persons (whether Rate Payers of the Featherston Road District or not,) interested in the above proposal, are invited to attend such Meeting and express their opinions thereon, HENRY RUNNY, Chairman of the Board of Wardens.
