Telegrams have been received in Wellington of the discovery of the body of a murdered man at Canterbury. The police of that Province are on the track of the supposed murderer. The Rev. Mr I, Harding is announced to preach aj Masterton on Sunday week, and at Greytown on the following Monday, when he will deliver his farewell sermon previous to his departure for Wanganui. The Rev Mr Rishworth is expected to take up his residence in the Wairarapa in April. He has been latterly residing at Manawatu were he has been much inspected. This will be a matter of satisfaction to the members of the Wesleyan Chapel in this district. A steamer supposed to be the Panama boat wes signalled as Cobb’s coach left town this morning.
