THE HUTT MAIL.

We beg most respectfully but no less earnestly to call the attention of the Postmaster-General to the great inconvenience which is experienced by the settlers of this district and those of tlie Hutt, owing to there being no direct mail between these two places. All newspapers and letters posted at the Hutt for the Wairarapa, and in the Wairarapa for the Hutt have at present to go. the round-about way to Wellington. The simple statement of this all but incredible mal-arrangemen will, we are sure, be, the means of causing its immediate rectification.
