BAND ROTUNDA.

WE hope the Town Board will lose no time in calling for tenders for the erection of the Coronation memorial band rotunda. The amount already subscribed would warrant that body in taking immediate steps for the carrying out of this work, which it is hoped will be completed for the official opening. If the work is taken in hand at once and not left till too late in the season, then the unavoidable damage to the ground always attendant where building operations are going on —will be the more easily made good. If the canvass so vigorously opened is continued fora while longer there should be no difficulty in raising the required balance;. but in any case we think the Town Board would be justified in immediately calling for tenders for the carrying out of this work.
