LAWN TENNIS CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of tiie Te Awamutu Lawn Tennis Club was held at the end of last week, at which there were present: Messrs von Sturmer (president), Drs Henderson and Reekie, Messrs Empson, Blennerhassett, and Cox (secretary)- It was decided to take immediate steps to shift the property of the Club from the present courts to the new grounds at the Victoria Park. It was resolved that the season be officially opened during the month of October at a date to be arranged.
