SOCIAL EVENING.

At the conclusion of the regular meetings of the Druids' Lodge and the Girls' Club last evening, a Social was held. The ladies, who were the guests of the Druids, adjourned to the Lodge Room, where a very enjoyable evening was spent. Mr W. Groves presided, and in welcoming the ladies expressed a wish that they would regularly assemble for a similar entertainment. He referred to the very evident good feeling that existed between both institutions. During the evening several songs and choruses were sung by various members present, _ the whole being interspersed with a friendly conversation. Supper was partaken of, after which the evening was brought to a close by the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
