ROTOMANUKA DRAINAGE BOARD.

A meeting of the above Board was held at Ohaupo on Monday last. There were'present Messrs F. Potts, chairman ; D. Turnwald, W. Trott, A. Karl, and C. Rauch. It was resolved that a general rate be made of I penny in the £.■ The superintendent of the New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Office wrote forwarding provisional approval of the Board's application for a loan of £ISOO for the purpose of constructing drainage works within, the Rotomanuka Drainage area. The term of loan years and rate of interest Z/z per cent per annum.

The loan to be secured by a special annual recurring rate. The clerk was instructed to write and request Mr S. B. Sim of Hamilton to prepare plans and specifications of the proposed drainage works. The following accounts were passed for payment: —E. B. Cox £lO, Waikato Times £1 is.
