CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
(TO THE EDITOR.)
SJR, —May I ask if nothing is to be done in our community re the starting of a Chamber of Commerce ? I thought that after your excellent article on the subject, that the matter would be taken up at once. Surely some of our public-spirited citizens will move in the matter. There is a lot of work waiting for a live body to take in hand, and I know of nothing that could push things ahead so well, as a live, active Chamber of Commerce. Hoping to hear that something will be done soon. —I am, etc., Citizen.
