ARBOR DAY
(TO THE EDITOR.) SIR, —Another Arbor Day is upon us without any sign of movement in Te Av/amutu in the direction of beautifying our town by tree-planting. If only from an “ Auri sacra fames” point of view, it would be a good investment. Can you, Mr Editor, shake us up to a proper sense of our duties to ourselves in this direction. I hope you can and will. — I am, etc., SILICUS.
