FOOTBALL.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The letter signed "Mem-" ber Kihikihi Football Club," dealing with the matter of the disqualification of the Te Awamutn Club, is a most ill-advised one, so far as the Kihikihi Club is concerned. What is therein stated, may or may not be true, but where are the responsible officers of the Kihikihi Club, that an irresponsible member of thatclub, who may be anybody or nobody, is allowed to speak through your columns on behalf of his captain and club. Has he. usurped these or has he been deputed to '"deal with them ? In any case the management of the Kihikihi Club must come out into the open, through your columns, or take the consequences of silence. This question forces itself in upon Why was the Te Awamutu Club allowed to play and win every match in the first round with no word of disqualification till its final match with and win over the Cambridge Club ? Has that club any pull or influence over the controlling (Cambridge) Union ?- J ana, etc., Old Fossil.
