It is understood that the boundaries of the Thames electorate will be changed before the forthcoming election. The last census has shown that there is a decrease in the population of the Thames electorate, Thames and Coromandel showing a falling off, while the population of the Ohinemuri electorate has increased. To even things up it is more than probable that a portion of the present Ohinemuri electorate will be included in Thames.
