OTOROHANGA.
[By Telegraph.] (Own Correspondent.)
Thursday was observed as a close holiday here. The weather was very wintery and prevented a large number being present at the special Coronation service which was conducted in St. Brides Church by the Rev. Piggott. This service was most impressive. Appropriate hymns were sung and after prayers for the King she service closed by si'Jging the Te Deum. The school children were assembled and saluted the flag, after which they received the Coronation medals.
