DAIRY INDUSTRY AT RAGLAN.
The committee appointed to further the scheme for extending the dairy industry in this district (says the “ Raglan Chronicle ”) met on Saturday afternoon, Messrs Houchen (in the chair), Carr (secretary), McDonald and A. L. Pegler being present. It is likely that proposals will shortly be submitted to the shareholders of the two companies carrying on business in the district with a view to their amalgamation.
