DAIRY PRODUCE IN LONDON
A Wellington firm has been advised by cable that the total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending April 29 amounted to 103,000 cwt., as compared with 98,000 cwt. for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 15,000 cwt. The market is very dull, continued the cable. Quotations are : Danish 112 s ; New Zealand 108 s ; Australian salted, 100 s; Australian unsalted 104 s. The market is steady at 6ls 6d per cwt.
