WELLINGTON’S POTATO SUPPLY.

BADLY BLIGHTED. The bulk of the potatoes coming on to the Wellington market now are bad. The importations are from the south, and the trouble is chiefly Irish blight.

One of the brokers says that he has not seen a sign of the potato grub yet in any of the southern consignments.

The quotations are from 5 s 3A to 5s 9d per cwt.

Tomatoes, which were so cheap awhile ago, are bringing from 2s 6d to 4s 6d a half case on the Wellington market.
