A rifle shooting match was fired at Otorohanga on Easter Monday by the Otorohanga against the Kio Kio Defence Rifle Club, the latter winning by 46 points ; for the territorials the best scores were made by Lieut. Henderson, Privates Clarke, Cowley, and Rogers ; for the Kio Kio Club President Worthington, Rifleman Cumpstone, Hoskins, and Burke. It is to be hoped, now that the corps have commenced these matches, it will lead to greater interest being taken in this hitherto neglected pastirpe. I am informed that registration is proceeding very satisfactory, also, that our' seopt movement will soon be galvanised into life again by the advent of new officers, who will take a been interest in the boys.
