War Kinematograph.

The Thornton Stewart Kinematograph Company, showing new sensational and realistic animated pictures of the Transvaal war, is to appear at the Oddfellows’ Hall to-night. Anew series of animated war pictures has just been received. These include the battle of Glencoe, wreck of an armored train, nurses attending wounded aftor the battle of Glencoe, relief of Ladysmith, Lord Dundonakl’s cavalry, gallant Gordon Highlanders marching to the front, Black Watch embarking at Capetown, Lord Methuen’s Lancers crossing Modder River, the famous Scots Greys who lost so heavily at Tugela River, General French with New Zealanders, hospital corps at work after the reverse at Modder River, the deserter and his doom, trains bringing wounded to Capetown, Boers drilling at Pretoria, and numerous other fine pictures. In addition, Mr Fred Foley, ventriloquist, conjuror, and musical wizard, will give his unique performance, and Mr Foley is recognised as an entertainer of the highest order. The company played at Danevirke for three nights, to full houses, and received favorable notices from the Danevirke papers. Last night the show appeared at Waipukurau and was greeted by a full house.
