The sun enters Gemini on the 21st of tho month. Full moon on the 25th.

Morcury is a morning star during the month and is in close proximity to Venus. Venua, rising shortly before snnriee, will be in ooDjanction with the moon on the stb, Mars will be in conjunction on the 7tb, and Jupiter on the 23rd. (Two heavenly bodies are in conjunction when they are due north at the same time). Jupiter rises almost dne cast at sunset and now presents a fine appearance. Mars is in Cancer but is rapidly moving towards Leo. Aroturus, a yellowish star of the first magnitude, rises a little further north than Jopiter aud about two hoars later. This star stands fonrth in order of brightness, taking rank after Sirina, Canopus, and Alpha Centauri (one of the Pointers of the Southern Cross.) Saturn rises about 9 o’clock.
