Fire at Masterton.

Masterton, This day Early this morning the Foresters’ Hall, in Q jeon Street, and a cottage adjoining, oooupied by J. Ward, were destroyed by fire. A brick wall saved the fire from spreading to other buildings. The insurance on the hall nnd contents » £405, in the North British. E. Prisk, whose for nitnre shop was underneath the hall was only insured for £BO. Ward’s house was owned by J. 8 W. Pearce, and was insured for £l5O in the London and Lancashire, and the Oddfellows' property whioh was stowed away in tbe Foresters’ Hall waa insured for £SO io the Standard.
