The man named Skow, who was injured on board the steamer Queen Eleanor, at Auckland, has served a writ on the captain for £4OO damages The vessel was allowed to proceed on, the agents and oaptain giving their bond. The box plan for ‘Oar Boys,’ which will be repeated on Wednesday evening, will be opened to morrow merning at 9 o‘olock. Those who were present last night will be admitted free, bat it will be necefsary for them to again book their seats. At the inquest held at Danedin touching the death of William Watson a verdict was returned of accidental death, no blame being attached to anyone. The jary commended Patterson, the porter at the station. Toe evidence showed that Watson got in between two wagons standing still. The train started slowly, and he was knocked down, the wheel of one wagon going over his left shoulder, which was nearly severed.
