(OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Mr lugleton, when driving home with his daughter, met with *n accident, owing to the harness not being securely fixed. The horse began to bolt and tbe oocu pants jumped from the trap, which had the axle broken and sustained other damages. Mr lugleton is about alright but Miss Phoebe lugleton received a cut in tbe face and braises on the body, and was unable to attend her duties at the sohool.

Last uight towards eleven o’clock the churoh bell was heard to ring, denoting that a fire was somewhere abont tbe township. It proved to be Mr John Knight’s wool shed, which was burned to the ground.
