Danevirke, asking that the boundary of the school district be altered,— Can only be done in the month of Deoember; seoretary to make a note of the request. —Be chimney, Mr Knight to inspect, and if he thinks necessary, to be rebuilt. Norsewood, Mr Miller reporting on the porch.—Modified report approved. Pukahn, asking for chimney and conveniences.—Granted. Te Aute, Messrs Collins and Forrest objecting to the election of school committee.—Matter deferred until result of inquiries are to hand, and if the eircnmstances call for a re-election the chairman was authorised to take the necessary steps. Waipnkuran, asking that Miss bharpin's servioes be retained—ltegukti ns must be adhered to. Umutaoroa, asking for subsidy towards levelling school play-gronnd.— Inquiry to be made as to the necessity; Mr Kr ight to report, Waipawa, re drainage in conn ction

with master’s residence,—lnformation to be procured, Mr Miller to report, and apparatns committee to decide what shall be done. MISCELLANEOUS. The following appointments were approved : Ashley - Clinton, Mis* Ellingham, pupil teacher; Hastings, Miss E. Hayes and A. Cullen, pupil teachers; Makuri, Miss Oxenham, monitor; Manga - atua, Mr Gloy, master ; Port Ahuriri, Miss M‘Bride, pupil teacher.
