Tho enn enters Gemini on the 21st of the month. Full moon on the 25th. Mercury is a morning star during the month and is in oloie proximity to Venus. Venue, rising shortly before sunrise, will be in conjunction with the moon on the sth, Mars will he in conjunction on the 7th. and Jupiter on the 23rd. (Two heavenly bodies are io conjunction when they are due north at the same time). Jupiter rises almost due east at sunset and now presents a fine appearance. Mars is in Oanoer but is rapidly moving towards Leo.

Aroturus, a yellowish star of the first magnitude, rises a little further Dorth than Jupiter and about two hours later. This star stands fourth in order of brightness, taking rank after Sirius, Canopus, and Alpha Centauri (one of the Pointers of tho Southern Cross.) Saturn rises about 9 o’clock.
