Tbe Conference of Chambers of Commerce resolved that restrictions in tbe way of trading with tbe New Hebrides at present hampered the British resi dents. Restrictions should bo applied alike to all nationalities. The Conference stroDgly endorsed tho petition to the QaeeD, adopted by the Federal Counoil, on tho subject. It was decided to favour the holding of a regular Intercolonial Coogroeß.
