All entries received must be on tho conditions that all disputes he decided by the stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be liuul. 2. Three horses to start for each race, or only the half of the public money will bo given. 3. No person shall be allow’ed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber of £2 2s to the race fund, buck races excepted. 4. All protests to be written and lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of the race in dispute, together with a deposit of one pound, which will be forfeited if the protest is found to be of a frivolous nature. 5. Entries, with ago and name of horse and color of rider, to be sent in to the Hon. Secretary by 7 p.ia. on Thursday, 19th December, 1878, with subscription, nomination, and entrance fees enclosed, 6.
