The week’s output from Manila was 28,000 bales. Kauri.Gum: The market is steady with fair business doing. Stock on hand, 362 tons. Current prices are as follows; Ordinary to fair threequarter scraped, £8 10s; fair half scraped, £5 2s Cd; brown fair half to threequarrter, scraped £4 10s; brown pickings, common to good £2 ss; bush fair to good pale amber, scraped, £8 10s. Wheat: The market is dull and unsettled. . Oats; The market is slightly weaker, with less demand. Beans: The market is steady, and prices are well maintained, but buyers are cautious. Cocksfoot Seed: The market is very dull, and there is scarcely any demand. New Zealand bright clean 171b seed, on spot, averages 60s. Wool: The market remains firm.

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, Hamilton, have received the following cable from their London office under date 6th inst:— 1 ‘Butter: Buyers are holding back expecting to do better later on.
