Wedding at Te Awamutu.
WORTHINGTON—McCALLUM. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. F. W. Clarke, 8.A., of Te Awamutu. on Thursday, May 14th. when Miss Annie McCallum, eldest daughter of Mr C. S. McCallum of "Roscavey,"' Paterangi, was married to Mr Thos. Worthington, of Whangarei. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore her travelling dress, a navy blue tailor-made costume, and a pretty blue hat to match. She was attended by her two sisters, the Misses Adina and Cassie McCallum, as bridesmaids. The former was dressed in creme silk, and the latter wore pale blue silk. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr J. S. Worthington, as best man, and Mr C. S. McCallum, brother of the bride was groomsman. After the cermony, Mr and Mrs McCallum entertained the guests at a wedding breakfast and the young folk to a dance in the hall in the evening. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many handsome presents from their numerous friends. —Own Correspondent.
