Sleeping Sickness.

London, May 18. The Imperial Government has established a bureau at Burlintgon

House, with a paid director, and

under the general control of an hono- * rary committee, with Sir West Ridgway as chairman, to collate and distribute information and publish a map relating to sleeping sickness. The Royal Society is co-operating to make the bureau a success, and the Soudan Government has agreed to pay one-fourth of the expenses.
