CLEARING SALE AT TAUWHARE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale ye sterday at Tauwhare on account of Mr Maurice Eyre. There was a large attendance of buyers from the surrounding districts. Everything sold at satisfactory prices with the exception of the horses, which were in poor demand. A waggon realised £ls; spring cart, £l2; drill, £22 10s; d.f. plough, £ll ; 2to 2J year old steers, brought £3 12s 6d; 2 to 2J year old heifers averaged £2 17s Gd; diary cows averaged £5 18s 6d; 1 draught horse brought £26; light horses sold from £8 15s to £l7 10s.
