Industrial Prosperity.
Sydney, May 15. Official reports show that the industrial establishments of the State at the end of last year numbered 526 more than the previous year. The hands employed were 87,194, an increase of 9372, and wages paid were £6,679,000, a increase of £1,088,000. The average wages were £76 12s, as compared with £7l 17s during the past seven years. J?he employment of female labour has been doubled, and male has increased 32 per cent.
