Auckland, Last Night. ,A burglar, who entered the residence of Charles Moon, Pah road, Mount Roskill, on Saturday afterr.oDn, when disturbed bolted barefooted with Moon in pursuit. The chase took place for over half a mile over fences and hedges, the fugitive eventually gaining shelter in a quantity of scrub. Very little of value was missed, but jewellery valued at £4O was found tied up in the bedroom ready for removal, though £2O in notes was overlooked.
