Volunteering.

On Wednesday next a squadron of No. 1 Regiment A.M.R., hold two paid daylight parades. The Ngaruawahia and Hamilton detachments, leaving their respective headquarters at 11 a.m., will proceed to Mr Allen Bell’s farm, near Pukete, where the day will be devoted to manoeuvres and general work preparatory to the squadron attending the Easter camp. Should the day be wet, arrangements will be made so that the men can get on with some useful work in the Hamilton Horse Bazaar.
