BAD ROADS.

We are informed that some of the settlers in the Kirikiriroa district are experiencing considerable difficulty in getting their milk to the factory, and have threatened to give up the industry. This is not a matter for surprise when it is stated that one man has to employ three draught horses to convey to the factory a load which one horse could ordinarily cope with, ft took one contractor two days to go about 10 miles over the same road, and then lie had to hitch on an extra pair of draught horses every now and again to keep his horse and dray from disappearing altogether. Fortunately a settler in the vicinity came to his assistance with the extra horses, or he might have boon at it yet.
