FOOTBALL.

FANCY DRESS MATCH. The fancy dress match to be played this afternoon oo Sydney Square is causing a lot of interest among the general public, and a record attendance is anticipated. Wo had the pleasure last evening of inspecting some of the costumes to be worn by the players, and we must say that they are, indeed, splendidly got up, and should cause no end of merriment to the spectators. At the practicw of the Hamilton B:iud la*t evening it was decidpd to play out this afternoon during the progress of tho game, and the members, or as many as pos-ible as can get away, are reci'iested to meet at the band-room at 2 30 p.m. sharp.

Town Clerk of Kumaka, N.Z., Cured of Sciatica. George Robert Rudkin, Town Clerk, Kumara, N.Z., says : 'I have very great pleasure in stating that, having used Chamberlain's Tain Balm in a very severe attack of sciatica, I found immeliate relief. Had before tried many other embrocations for the same purpose, but found this the most efEcacious. Several of my friends who have been afflicted with rheumatism have on my advice tried Chamberlain's Fain Balm with equally uood results. I confidently recommend it to those in need of a good household liniment or embrocation. For sile by W. Dey (Hamilton), Thos Wells Cambridge), aud G. M. A. Ahier (Te Awamutu).
