Maize ill supply sold at 3a 3d ex wharf, for le dry sample 3s 6d ex store, fowl at 38 7d to 4a Id, prime chaff 0a to £4 15s ex rail, inferior and aged £2 to £4, bran, £5, sharps £6, ota £1 ss. pressed bay, dull of sale to £4, clover £4 10a to £5, straw ss. There was an average number of k of all olasses at Bemuera on Thurs- . for which there was steady conrtion throughout. Dairy cowß sold l£6 10a to £9, dry £2 15a to £s' and young calves, ahort of requireits, sold freely, small were from 5s a, medium 12a to £l, heavy up to 108(60 sold). The beef pens were Hiled, and with few exceptions all of real good quality, pricea being firmer throughout. Steers ranged in price from £7 10s to £l4 12a Bd, cows £5 10a to £9 (254 sold). Eleven steers fattened by Mr Robt. Hall averaged £l2 16a 4d. Sheep same forward in usual numbers and met with a ready sale. Extra, 5 heavy wethers sold from 17s to £1 2a 9d, lighter aorta 12a 6d to 15a, ewes, weighty 14a to 17a 9d, othera 8a to 12a (1750 Bold). Lambs penned in moderate numbers, were at late values. Pigs short of requirements, Bold freely, Baconers £2 10a to £3 15a. small 8a to 12s 6d, porkers, £1 10s to £2.
