An extraordinary case has just been tried in the Criminal Courts, as the result of which a prisoner named t Caroline Pryzgodda was sentenced to. death for the murder of no less than four husbands, all of whom she despatched by means of arsenic. At the time of her arrest she was compassing the destruction of a fifth.
