School Concert.— The annual conceit in aid of the picnic funds was held on Friday last in the hall. Despite the fact that the weather was very wet, the hall was packed, the sum ot £ls being netted. The programme which was provided by the pupils was as follows Overture, orchestra ; chorus, ‘ Catch the Sunshine,’ senior punils; recitation, ‘After Vacation,’ Master Martin Lynch ; trio, ‘ I’m a Modest Little Daisy,’ Misses it. Saulbrey, L. Mallindine and F. Kellow; song, ‘ Some Folks,’ senior pupils; reci tation, ‘Tom the Fisherman,’ Miss Rosie Cavanagh; Song, ‘Sec the Little Babies,’junior pupils ; recitation, ‘Keiping His Word,’ Master Hester Burr; duet, ‘The Soldiers Motto,’ Misses O’Leary and Pendergrast ; song. 'Just As the Sun Went Down,’ Master Ned Moffitt; recitation, ‘The Child’s First Grief,’ Miss Mabel Guthrie; duet, ‘Little Sister’s Gone to Sleep,’ Misses Burr and Booth ; recitation, 1 Doggie Under the Waggon,' Miss Bona Gall; song, ‘ Cheer Dp Mother,’ Masters Jeremiah O’Leary and John Pendergrast ; recitation, ‘ The Farmer Feeds Them All,’ Miss Violet Graves; song, ‘l’ll Sing a Pretty Song,’ junior pupils. After an interval of ton minutes the children’s play ‘Blue Bell’ was staged. The different items were all well staged, and showed evidence of a great deal of study, too much praise for which cannot lie given to the teaching staff, especially Miss Fletcher.—(Own Correspondent).
