The secretary of the General Post-office has received telegrams from Cheviot as follows ‘November 21, 8.53 p.m,—A slight shock of earthquake has just been experienced.’ ‘ November 22, 8 a.in.—Three shocks of earthquake occurred during the early moruing, at 4.57 am, 5.10 a.m., and 7.15 am. None were of a serious nature.’
