HAMILTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The annual show of this Society will he hdd in the Volunteer Hall on Thursday next, the 28th inst The doors will he open to the general public from I to 5 in the afternoon aud again from 7 to 9.45 in the evening. There will he refreshments and afternoon tea provided at a small charge lor the convenience of visitors from a distance. In the afternoon and again in the evening there will ho a good promenade concert provided as on previous occasions. All entries, except for children’s bouquets, close at 5 this afternoon. There are two classes for bouquets made by children under supervision—one for those under 14 .ml the other for those under 10. Children desiring to compete in these classes must bring their flowers and materials to bt. Peter’s schnolro-m her ween 3 30 and 5.30 on Wednesday, 27th. and make the hou quets uuler the supervision of a member of the committee who will attend for that purpose. In these classic no entries have to he made and no entry charge is made, tiro children simply giving their names when they hand in their bouquets.
