Thk Waikato Argus Offick, This Day. W. J. HUNTER’S OHAUPO SALE, On Tuesday at Mr VV. J. Hunter’s yards There was a good muster of stock, over 600 htad of all classes._ Most of the stock were of a good quality and in fair conditions. The demand for young stock was a bit easier and the tone of the market was quiet. The following are the quotation. Good dairy cows, from £6 to £8 ; backward springrs, £4 to yearlings, mixed sexes, from £2 3s to £2 18a; good quality heifers, likely to make good dairy c ws, 18 months-old, £4 ; grown steers, in forward condition, fri m £7 to £7 10s ; 3-year-old steers, £5 5s to £5 16s ; 2 year-old steers, from £4 3s to £4 8s ; cows, with calves, £4 9s to £4 15s ; store cows, £4 to £4 10s ; fat cows, £5 10s to £6 13s Sheep ; Only a small yarding. Ewes,with lambs, 12a to 16s. .
