I hereby dcc'nre that the result of the poll taken on the 11th day of Oc'obcr, 1001, on the proposal lo lahc a loan (I) Fur the purpose of constructing Water Works, erecting a Reservoir, purchasing Pumping and other Machinery, laying down mains, and doing all work trees* saiy for supplying the Borough with an efficient supply of pure water. (2) The sum proposed to ho borrow: d for such purpose is £O,OOO, and it is proposed I hat the cost of rai-ing die lean, and that the interest for one year during the construction of the above-mentioned works shall be pa d out of the moneys to bo borrowed.
