FOOTBALL.
HAMILTON RUGBY IUNION. A meeting of the Managing Committee was held in The Wjxkato Argos Buildings last night. It was* decided to co-operate with the Poverty Bay Rugby Union in erecting a monument to the late Mr T. E. Kirk, anil Mr H. E. Tristram, who k : .ndly consented to act as -Hon. Secretary and Treasurer to the fund, was icquested to send subscription lists to the various Unions and clubs in the district, asking them to join in the movement, If, whs suggested that subscriptions be limited to no more than 2s lid. It was decided, owing to the lateness of the season, to cancel the supplstnentary fixtures. A vote of thanks tJBo Messrs E. J. Williamson aud R. J.
