ACCIDENT TO THE TOMOANA.

(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Napier, Last Night. The s.s. Tomoana arrived in the bay at 10 o’clock, and a diver proceeded out for the purpose of making an examination as to the extent of the damage caused by bumping the bottom at Gisborne. The weather, however, was too rough to permit of the diver descending, and after discharging cargo the Tomoana will proceed on to Wellington, at 4 p.m, to-day. The damage is not serious.
