ENGLISH MAILS. English mails will close at Hamilton as under Date. Time. Roetk. Aug. 16 ... 1.30 pm. ... San Frmcisco J. F. Long, Postmaster. BATES OF POSTAGE. The postage on letters and letter cards within the colony, and for the United Kingdom, Canada, Cape Colony, India, and practically all other places in the British Empire, except Australia, is now one penny for each half-ounce. The rate to foreign countries will remain at 2|d, and to Australia 2d, until further notice. The parcel rate to the United Kingdom is : 31b, Is; 71b, 2s ; 111b, 3j Mails) close at the Hamilton Post-office on and after February 8, for the undermentioned places,as under:— Auckland and intermediate cilices— Daily, 9.15 a.m. and 1 30 p.m. Auckland only—Mondays, Wednesdays.and Fridays, 12.35 p.m. Paeroa, To Aroha, Waihou, Piako, Morrinsville—Daily, at 1.30 p.m.; also, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 10.55 a.m. Matamata, Tirau, Ohoi-oire, Puta rnru, Waharoa, Tarukenga, Rotorua and Mamaku—Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 1.30 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 10.55 a.ni Ohaupo, Ngaroto, Te Awamutu, Pirongia and Nevvstead Daily, 1.30 p m. Cambridge-Daily, 1.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. Frankton Junction—Daily, 9.15 a,in. and 1.30 p.m. To Mata—Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7-45 a.m. Whatawhata, Waitetuna, Te Uku, Okete aud Raglan—Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7.15 a.m. Te Kuiti, Otorohanga and Poro-o-tarao-Mondays and Thursdays, 1.30 a.n.. Aotca—Tuesdays and Saturdays, 7.45 a.m. Tan wharc—Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 1.30 n.m. Kinkiriroa—Daily, 10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. Hinuera—Mondays, Wednesdays, anti Fridays, 1.30 p in.
