FIRE AT NEWMARKET.

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. Two houses, owned by Mr E. Heron, and occupied by Mr Edwards, saddler, and Mr J. Beaver, chaff-cutter, were destroyed, with their contents, by fire. The house owned by Mr Heron and occupied liy Mr Oliff was gutted. The Brigade prevented a further spread. The loss is £3OO. Mr Oliff's furniture is insued in the Royal for £SO ; but the other insurances are unknown.
