Apples have been hard of sale, except rip'i dessert and orderly packed lines. The bulk so far to hand are very •rreen. If vou want to realise good prices, send in ripe and dessert. Dessert, ripe, 2s 9d to 6s 4d ; others. 6d to ss. Butter : 5d to 7d.» Cheese: Dai.y, 4ill to 4M. Chaff, £2 10s to £3 per ton. Lags, lOd to Is- Hooey, 3s to 4s (sections). Kumnras, §d to Id lb. Lemons, 4s_ tfl is 6d case. Onions : Prime, £u' to £6 os; seconds, £4 to £6. Peas, fid to Is peek. Potatoes : Good demand at £3 10s to £4 per ton for prime Waikato's. As Canterbury will be up in three weeks we advise growers not to hold. Plums took a decided rise to-day to 3s to (is. Peaches also sold high ; peats, speeiilly ripe Bon Cretiens to 8s case, and in good demand.
