TRAGEDY IN AUCKLAND.

(BY TELKGRAPH—PREt!3 ASSOCIATION) Auckland, Saturday. An Auckland man named James Miller cut the throat of his little son, aged four, and then attempted to kill himself. It appears that a woman with whom Miller had been living left him a few days ago aud he asked her to come back but she declined. Ho took the boy, one of their children, home with him, and subsequently cut the child's throat from ear to ear, and also attempted te cut his own. Later on Mil er informed the neighbours of what he had done.
