(Received November 3, 9.33 a.m.) Brisbane, November 2, In tho Assembly it was announced that since July last 2269 male and 2584 female immigrants had been brought out, included in which are 700 foreigners. Recognising the possible restriction on the introduction of labour in the pear future, the Government has instructed the AgentGeneral to rostrict immigration for the present. A member alleged that Queensland had spent three-quarters of a million in bringing out immigrants.
