At the nautical enquiry into the wreck of the schooner Glencairu, the court found tho vessel had been wrecked on account of the stress of weather, and that the master had done all he could to save the vessel. He showed great judgment in beaching her, as he thereby saved the lives of the crew. The Court decided that his certificate should he returned to him.
